packVol - Optimization Software for Load Planning
Known issues
Avast! version 6 false positive.
When installing packVol, Avast! warns that the installer is not safe, and recommends to run the application in a “sandbox”. This is a false positive. In doubt, stop the installation, right click over the installer and select “Scan for viruses”. Avast! will confirm that the file is safe and contains no threat.
Windows Servers.
Windows Server operating systems enable by default advanced protection features (SEHOP) which are absent in desktop versions. Unfortunately, these features are incompatible with many applications. If you experience problems when running our software on a Windows Server, please contact us.
On Line Help.
When you run packVol over a network drive and you open the on-line help, the right pane may show the message “Navigation to the webpage was canceled” instead of displaying the topic/contents. This is normal behavior, because Microsoft Security Updates block display of CHM file contents (the help file) when opened from a network drive. For further explanation see the article .
